In exciting news, the Queensland Government has pledged its support for the Youngcare’s  Gold Coast project, offering $3 million dollars over three years to fund the care provision for future residents.

Youngcare welcomes the funding announcement and the Bligh Government’s decision to support the needs of young people requiring relevant and dignified, round-the-clock-care. 

And whilst the funding will allow the project to take another step forward, there is still so much more that needs to be done in order to make the Gold Coast Apartments a reality on schedule next year. 

Thanks to the kind support of the Queensland Government, a large portion of the care costs has been covered, however the Youngcare Apartment Building itself still needs to be funded and constructed, and Youngcare is focusing on raising the capital to do so.
