Leave a Gift in Your Will

Thank you for your interest in leaving a gift to Youngcare in your Will. Your gift will help provide a real choice in care and housing for young Aussies with high needs - and a beacon of hope that change is possible.

The lack of appropriate care and housing options for young Aussies with high care needs is a broad and complex issue, but it is an issue that is solvable.

Leaving a gift to Youngcare in your Will allows us to invest in these solutions, now and into the future. That is the greatest gift of all.

How to leave a gift in your Will

You can visit Youngcare's page on Charity Wills Australia to make a free will or download a free will kit.

Leaving a gift in your Will is simple and easy and will make a lifetime of difference. If you don’t have a Will, you should seek legal advice on creating one.

A gift can be made in the form of specific dollar amounts, a percentage of the estate, or all or a portion of what remains after you have provided for your family.

To leave a gift to Youngcare in your Will, we suggest the following wording for you and your legal advisor to consider:

To leave a residual gift in your estate to Youngcare:

'I give to Youngcare Ltd ABN 17 113 923 032, otherwise known as 'Youngcare', for its
general purposes (or name specific purpose) all of the rest, residue and remainder of my
estate whether real or personal and the receipt of the Chief Executive Officer of that
organisation will be sufficient discharge to my executor/trustee'.

To leave a percentage of your estate to Youngcare:

'I give to Youngcare Ltd ABN 17 113 923 032, otherwise known as 'Youngcare', for its
general purposes (or name specific purpose) the stated percentage ___% or fraction of
the rest, residue and remainder of my estate whether real or personal and the receipt of
the Chief Executive Officer of that organisation will be sufficient discharge to my
executor/trustee'.

To leave a pecuniary gift in your estate to Youngcare:

'I give to Youngcare Ltd ABN 17 113 923 032, otherwise known as 'Youngcare', the sum of
$___ to be used for its general purposes (or name specific purpose) and the receipt of
the Chief Executive Officer of that organisation will be sufficient discharge to my
executor/trustee'.

Your gift will change the lives of so many young people in desperate need, well into the future.
It is a meaningful legacy that you can leave in the lives of young Australians with high care
needs, their families and carers.
