The trekkers completed their biggest day so far yesterday, with 32km’s trekked, unbelievable effort considering the sore feet and blisters from previous days trekking. It has been great weather, hot during the day and cool and clear at night.
This morning they have already cleared 8km’s with 11km’s more to go before they reach the Geo Centre this afternoon. The mum’s on the trek have received some special treats for Mother’s Day which has helped them get through the day.
They are all looking forward to reaching the Geo Centre this afternoon to mark half way for the challenge. Where they will receive messages from their loved ones.
They will be checking in again this afternoon when they reach the Geo Centre and we will send another update tomorrow.
