Xstrata: Long term supporters of Youngcare

As one of Youngcare’s most valued partners, Xstrata and Youngcare have built a wonderful working relationship over the last three years.

The corporate partnership kicked off in 2007 as part of the Xstrata Community Partnership Program Queensland, which has provided fantastic benefits to Youngcare.

“Through their invaluable support, the Xstrata Family Room at the Youngcare Apartments Sinnamon Park is the lively heart of activity for Youngcare residents,” Youngcare Fundraising Director Kirsty Graham said.

“Continuing their generous support, upon completion, residents at the Youngcare Apartments Gold Coast will also enjoy their own Xstrata Family Room.”

Relationships such as the one enjoyed by our organisation and Xstrata, are central to enabling Youngcare to continue their mission of providing a choice in care and accommodation options for young people with full-time care needs.

“We would like to thank Xstrata for their ongoing support. We rely heavily on support from all branches of the community, including the corporate sector – Youngcare owes much of its current achievements to Xstrata’s amazing support,” Ms Graham said.
