Volunteers are our lifeblood
Youngcare’s volunteers are one of our most important resources – without them we could not continue our work to help young Aussies in desperate need.
Volunteering for Youngcare is a great way to have fun, meet new people and broaden your skills; all the while helping young people with high care needs live life with choice, independence and dignity.
There are loads of opportunities to get involved; join the team and lend a hand around Youngcare HQ or help out at one of our Youngcare events. We would love to welcome you into the Youngcare family!

“When you find something you are passionate about, it can be daunting and challenging to know how to get involved and make a difference, but through volunteering, Youngcare has given me the opportunity and flexibility to pursue my passion to bring about change in this area.” – Sarah, Youngcare volunteer
“After moving across the globe to a city full of strangers, I have found the sense of community I was looking for through my time as a Youngcare volunteer. I would highly recommend it to others looking to give back and have some fun.” – Teresa, Youngcare volunteer
“After volunteering one Friday afternoon, I saw how committed and connected everyone was, and I saw that my skills were useful and helped make the event a success. I had a lot of fun with other volunteers and Youngcare team and I felt connected enough to want to help more, I felt ‘appreciated’.” – Tara, Youngcare volunteer
