Digital Marketing Specialist

Full-time | South Brisbane, Brisbane QLD

We are on the lookout for our new Digital Marketing Specialist to join our close-knit and supportive team! Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, this highly valued role has the ability to have a meaningful impact on the quality of living of persons with high physical needs by partnering with key client groups to implement Youngcare’s housing marketing plan by creating interest and awareness of our Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) offering, generating housing expressions of interest and ultimately filling our vacancies.

Our successful new team member will be comfortable working hands-on and collaboratively, supporting the Housing and Connect teams across a number of key technical areas including:

  • Podcast production– production and content creation including audio recording, editing / mixing, Storytelling, scripting, and interviewing.
  • Online and digital marketing – website content creation & management, as well as communication and engagement with stakeholders including development of digital case studies for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) promotion and manage property listings on external websites;
  • Social media – develop and execute the social media calendar measuring impact and engagement across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube ensuring alignment to mission and brand;
  • Graphic Design – design and develop materials for use online and in print;
  • Reporting and Analytics – provide insights to illustrate impact through data and analytics measuring effectiveness of campaigns and return on investment cyclically and adhoc as required including website analytics, social media activity and engagement and post campaign evaluations to inform future activity;
  • Video production and photography – Conceptualize and storyboard video projects. Support end to end production including planning, coordinating video shoots including location and talent sourcing, equipment setup, conducting interviews, capture b-roll, and stills, when recording events or promotional content as required. Edit and format videos for optimal use across multiple platform;

Our new team member will be a talented storyteller with a passion for creating engaging content. They will be a great fit for our culture and will also have:

  • Relevant degree in Marketing, or Communication
  • Experience in a similar position with a strong focus on Digital Marketing
  • Skilled in social media platforms, SEO, data analytics, CRM, and Adobe programs
  • Capabilities in producing, shooting and editing content in a fast-moving environment.
  • Podcast production experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent writing skills, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting requests
