Sew much love

Bribie Weekly | 18 July 2014

THE ladies of Island Quilters have celebrated raising $2500 for Youngcare. After showcasing their work at an exhibition throughout May, the group was able to raise the funds through a raffle. Members Toni Curtis and Diane Murdoch (pictured) were among the many members that regularly make items and donate the proceeds to not-for-profit organisations.

President Margaret Klatt wanted to thank the community for their support to make this possible. Youngcare is dedicated to helping young people get out of aged care and nursing homes.
