Green light for Albany Creek development
It’s all go for the Albany Creek apartments which will enable eight young people with a progressive neurological disease to move out of aged care. Agreements between State Government, MS Queensland and Youngcare are now finalised and earthworks will commence in April with building due for completion in 2017. We’ll keep you updated on the building milestones of this innovative development for people with disabilities and their aging parents, which is partly due to a state government grant though the Elderly Parent Carer Innovation Trial (EPCIT).
Our sincere thanks to our partner Herbert Smith Freehills for their pro bono legal advice throughout this process, and their ongoing support.
